- The price carries the operator's margin. Add the implied probabilities in a market and the total sits above 100%. At 2.10, 3.40 and 3.60 the total is 104.8%, so 4.8% is the operator's cut on every bet in that market.

- Verification is easier before you hold a balance than after. Complete it at signup, with photo identity and proof of address ready.
- Set the deposit limit while you are calm, at signup, not after a losing week. Tightening a limit applies immediately, loosening it usually waits out a cooling-off period.
What a wagering condition actually costs
Take a $100 deposit matched with a $100 bonus at 5x wagering. You have to stake $500 before the bonus converts, and at a 4.8% margin the expected cost of turning over that $500 is about $24.
So the $100 headline is worth roughly $76 if you clear it, and nothing at all if you do not finish inside the deadline. Read every offer as a multiple and a deadline, and work out the turnover before you decide the number is generous.

What is the single most useful thing to learn first
Implied probability. Divide 1 by the decimal price: 2.00 is 50%, 4.00 is 25%. Once a price is a percentage you can see the margin on every market you look at.
